What We Do

The purpose of ISECC is to provide, operate, organize, coordinate, and supervise the comprehensive special education and other needed educational programs and services effectively, efficiently, and equitably for students with disabilities eligible to receive such services under Article 14 of the Illinois School Code who attend its Member Charter Schools.

ISECC attracts the most qualified and best service providers; provides better services for  students; provides consistency in the quality of services; assists the schools in securing services that might be hard to find individually; and provides greater educational benefits that improve student learning.

Member Charter Schools can share best practices, years of experience, and practical knowledge and participate in a larger circle of resources for diverse learners.
